The goal of the GRK 2853 "Neuroexplicit Models of Language, Vision, and Action" is to develop novel neuroexplicit models that accurately solve tasks in natural language processing, computer vision, and action-decision making, and to investigate the theoretical and practical principles of designing effective neuroexplicit models. Neuroexplicit models combine neural models with human-readable ("explicit") representations. In this kickoff retreat, the first group of PhD students from this GRK will come together for the first time and begin working together.
