A few words about the exhibit and the artist

Maja Andrack (formerly Sokolova) is a Saarland-based artist who uses different media, as determined by the context of each piece, to create works that also include narrative elements or texts. Ms. Andrack's current show at Schloss Dagstuhl presents her new artistic project on the concept of disappearance. The 2014 work "über * oder über 1" insists on a comparison between black and white photography and paintings on canvas.
