Trends in big data are exposed when groups of data items or sets are visualized. In August, scientists from around the world met at Schloss Dagstuhl, the Leibniz Center for Informatics, to discuss and propose solutions for the most pressing challenges in visualizing large data sets.
Scientists from all over the world convened at Schloss Dagstuhl to apply the methods of informatics to the scientific study of voting – from voting mechanisms to Gerrymandering.
