It has been brought to our attention that scam emails, whose subject line can contain the seminar title, are being sent to participants, for example asking them to reveal their credit card details to "hold their hotel reservations" or to fill a form asking for their credit card data to "secure their sponsorship and registration".

Please delete these emails if you receive them.

We automatically reserve a room for registered participants - at our centre, not at a hotel. We will never ask you to enter your credit card details anywhere in order to hold your room reservation or registration.

Always make sure that emails purporting to come from Dagstuhl were actually sent from the domain "dagstuhl.de".

Note that we always communicate with registered participants about their accommodation directly and without intermediaries or document sharing services, thus all official emails concerning your accommodation will always only come from our own domain "dagstuhl.de". Links contained in our routine emails should all only point to dagstuhl.de or its sub-domains.
