Algorithmic Number Theory has been developed rapidly during the last twenty years. The depth and applicability of the advances have led to the use of number theoretical algorithms as important tools in many areas. The upcoming seminar will host experts from Mathematics and Computer Science for an exchange of ideas and methods of Number Theory, Complexity Theory and the Theory of Algorithms. Special emphasis will be on topics arising from new questions and problems in Cryptography and Coding Theory.
